I’ve made some changes to make the UI more “confortable”.
In particular i’ve worked on how the app respond to UI events, overriding the default component implementation and have assigned a default action when the 4ways trackpad was clicked, or the enter key was pressed.
in my opinion the changes have made the app more confortable and usable, even if the gap between standard blackberry apps (that are “menu-centric”) and our app has grown.
This is the list of screens that were changed:
- Categories screen : clicking the trackpad or hitting enter key, select or select a category
- Comments screen: when in multiple mode, clicking the trackpad or hitting enter key, select or select a comment
- Notifications screen: clicking the trackpad or hitting enter key, select or select a blog
- Main screen (the screen with the blogs list) : clicking the trackpad or hitting enter key, show the selected blog
- File Browser component : ….
